It is with great excitement to announce that Eric Curitore has been promoted to Vice President of Baseball Operations! For the past 2.5 years, Eric has been the Director of Division I Baseball Operations & continues to do great things at that level.  Prior to working in Division I, he previously held the Director of Division II Baseball Operations position from 2014-2019.

For those of you who may not be familiar with Eric, he is former club baseball player & President at Bowling Green State University from 2007-2011 . He volunteered with our organization for two years before being hired as a full time employee in 2011. Since then, Eric has been a tremendous asset to CollClubSports & the NCBA as we couldn’t be happier to have him take on this new challenge overseeing the NCBA as a whole. The NCBA Annual League Meeting was held LIVE last night, August 17th.  Lot’s of great information was covered and a lot of great questions asked.  If you were unable to join us for the LIVE version, not to worry!  Check out the recorded version HERE.

We are excited to invite you to the NCBA Annual League Meeting on August 17th, at 7:00 pm EST! As in years past, this important meeting will be held LIVE online.  This year it will be available for live viewing on the NCBA Facebook Page and Group.  To get all the details regarding the meeting, CLICK HERE to download the invitation!

The Annual Rules Committee Meeting was held on Saturday, July 24th.  The voting results of the rules suggestions that were submitted can be found HERE!  The updated 2021-2022 NCBA Rulebooks will be released in the coming weeks. Once they are finalized, they will be available for download on the website as well as emailed to all the teams.

Congratulations to former University of Alabama Club Baseball player Chase Lee, who was selected by the Texas Rangers with the 164th overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft.  Chase becomes the 10th NCBA alumni to be selected in the MLB Draft.  With being selected 164th overall, Lee has become the highest drafted NCBA alumni in league history!

Chase played for the club team for the 2017-2018 season before making the move to the NCAA team.  Lee finished the season with a 7-0 record and an impressive 0.21 ERA and was named the team’s Most Valuable Player. More impressively, he was also selected as a Rawlings NCBA First Team All-American.
