NCBA RULES COMMITTEE MEETING
The Annual NCBA Rules Committee Meeting is set for July 27th. Make sure your voice is heard and send any rule change suggestions to Christian Smith by July 25th for discussion at the meeting.
NCBA WELCOMES 6 NEW TEAMS TO DIII
The NCBA is happy to officially welcome 6 new teams to the Division III level for the 2019-2020 season. These teams include Southern New Hampshire University, Mary Baldwin University, Stony Brook University, Dickinson College, University of Massachusetts-Lowell, and Auburn University. We are excited to have them in the league and to see what they can do. There are several other teams currently going through the process and we expect to see that number grow in the coming months. MILLERSVILLE WINS NCBA DIII WORLD SERIES
Congratulations to Millersville University on winning the NCBA Division III World Series!! They defeated Missouri S&T today 10-3. In a back and forth affair, it was Millersville’s offense and pitching performance that prevailed. For the first time in NCBA DIII history, there were Co-MVP’s named, Joey Fisher of Millersville and Brandon Devlin of Missouri S&T. Joey was the starting pitcher for Millersville in the championship game as he threw a complete game and drove in a pair of runs. Brandon Devlin unfortunately passed away right before the season began for S&T and this season was dedicated to him, thus he has been named a Co-MVP in his honor.
