Tom McManus has recently been hired full time as the new Marucci Sponsor Account Manager for the National Club Baseball Association.  With this new position, Tom will be overseeing all the day to day logistics of the NCBA’s partnership with Marucci Sports.

Marucci is the Official Bat Provider of the NCBA. All member teams receive two complimentary bats with their membership each season, along with receiving exclusive pricing on additional orders through the NCBA/Marucci online store.

We are excited to invite you to the NCBA Annual League Meeting on August 22nd, at 7:00 pm EST! As in years past, this important meeting will be held LIVE online.  This year it will be available for live viewing on the NCBA Facebook Group Page. The Annual Rules Committee Meeting was held on Saturday, July 28th.  The voting results of the rules suggestions that were submitted can be found here.  The updated 2018-2019 NCBA Rulebooks will be released in the coming weeks. Once they are finalized, they will be posted to the website as well as emailed to all the teams.

The Annual NCBA Rules Committee Meeting will be held on July 28th at the NCBA headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and vote upon rules changes and new rule adoptions to the current rule book that the NCBA member teams have sent in.  If any Division III Teams have any rule changes that they would like discussed at the meeting, they should email their suggestion to Garrett Siemek, Director of DIII, at [email protected].  Garrett will speak on your behalf at the meeting and the committee will decide if the rule will be voted upon.  Results of the meeting will be sent out to all member teams and the updated rulebooks for the current season will be released soon after the completion of the meeting.

Garrett Siemek has just been named the new Director of Division III Baseball Operations, taking the place of Alex Kane who has taken a new opportunity for himself away from CollClubSports and the NCBA.  With this new position, Garrett will be overseeing all of Division III moving forward.  Garrett has show tremendous work ethic and attitude in his short time with CollClubSports and the NCBA, which will certainly help in his transition to his new role.  Garrett can be reached at [email protected] or by phone at 412-321-8440 x102.

Congratulation to Adrian College for winning the Division III National Championship! Adrian College earned the crown of National Champions by defeating the University of New Hampshire 4-0 in the championship game! This is a monumental win for Adrian as they take home the FIRST EVER Division III National Title, but they did so as a first year program within the NCBA!

The 2017 NCBA DI World Series MVP, Tanner Duncan is making waves in the Houston Astros Organization.  This is a must read article on Tanner and how he managed to do what everyone thought was unthinkable.

The NCBA roster freeze is on April 15th 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time.  After that time, no players can be added to the roster.  It is essential that teams check their rosters to make sure it is accurate and to correct any issues before the roster freeze.

The NCBA is in search of hitters of the LONGBALL!  Last year’s DeMarini Longball Challenge was one for the ages setting all kinds of homerun records.  If you can hit the ball really far and want to be apart of an amazing competition, please fill out the DeMarini Longball Challenge Application and send back to Christian Smith by May 1st for consideration!
