It is with great excitement to announce that Tom McManus ([email protected]; 412-321-8440 x110) has become the new Director of Division III Baseball Operations. Tom will do a fantastic job with Division III and the NCBA couldn’t be more excited for you all to work with him. Tom is a recent graduate of Salisbury University where he played on the club baseball team since his freshman year. During his senior season, he was elected as the team’s vice-president. Soon after graduating, Tom became the a volunteer with the NCBA, serving as the Chesapeake Regional Director in Division II, a role in which he still currently serves. His knowledge of playing for and running a club baseball team will be a huge asset to all the Division III teams and I know he is very much excited to work with all you.
Johns Hopkins University has been placed on probation for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season due to NCBA DIII Rule 26.01.0. They forfeited three conference games to Edinboro University during Week 4 of the NCBA Season.
Wright State University has been placed on probation for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season due to NCBA DIII Rule 26.01.0. They forfeited three conference games to Eastern Michigan University during Week 3 of the NCBA Season.

The Annual Rules Committee Meeting was held on Saturday, July 27th. The voting results of the rules suggestions that were submitted can be found HERE. The updated 2019-2020 NCBA Rulebooks will be released in the coming weeks. Once they are finalized, they will be posted to the website as well as emailed to all the teams.
The Annual NCBA Rules Committee Meeting is set for July 27th. Make sure your voice is heard and send any rule change suggestions to Christian Smith by July 25th for discussion at the meeting.
The DI Teams have voted to hold a special election for the NCBA Rules Committee D1 Team Representative Position. This is a one year term which will require the elected D1 Teams Rep to travel to Pittsburgh for the Annual Rules Committee Meeting in the Summer. The D1 Rules Rep will gather rule suggestions from D1 Teams during the course of the year and present them on behalf of the D1 teams to the rest of the Rules Committee for vote. Anyone can run for the position, so if you are interested in running, please fill out the D1 Rules Rep Candidate Form. To be considered, this needs to be completed and sent to [email protected] by Sunday, November 18th at 11:59pm EST.
