District I: Hofstra‘s bats and Dickinson‘s pitching carried the #1 and #2 seeds to first round wins. The East and West champions will face off at 9 AM Saturday morning in the winner’s bracket.

District II: 4-seed Craven CC started the day off with a massive upset of the #1 nationally ranked George Mason Patriots. Craven continued with another upset of South conference rival #2 Gardner Webb to find themselves in the championship game. They will await the results of the loser’s bracket tomorrow.

District III: #4 seed Robert Morris was the story of the day in District III as they put together two all-around performances in upsets of West champion Saginaw Valley and 3-seed John Carroll. They await the survivor of the loser’s bracket in the championship game.

District IV: The individual performance of the day goes to Winona State‘s Joe Navratil who fired a first round no-hitter with 13 K’s on the day. Winona will face off with North conference foe UW – Stevens Point in the winner’s bracket tomorrow morning.
