TOP TEN RECAP:
NEW NUMBER ONE: After a thrilling run through the District I Playoffs which included an extra inning walk off, Dickinson jumps from No. 7 to become the new number one team! With a lineup led by senior captain and first baseman Colin Williams and a strong starting rotation of Derek Chibbaro and Harry Weiss, the Red Devils will look to stay on top in Butler this weekend.
RANKINGS SHAKEUP: Once the dust settled from the District Playoffs, the Nos. 2-4 spots saw some brand new faces.
Robert Morris debuts in the rankings at No. 2 after knocking off three top ten teams in their run through the District III Playoffs. Led by senior captain Joey Asvestas and shortstop Caden Smith, the hometown Colonials will look to take advantage of playing in their own backyard this weekend.
UW – Stevens Point also makes their 2025 rankings debut at No. 3 after a wild run through the loser’s bracket to take home the District IV title. The Dawgs will look to rely on starting pitcher Lucas O’Brien who carried them through the Playoffs with two dominating complete game performances.
Craven CC will look to complete their Cinderella run as they come in at No. 4 in the Week 25 Rankings. The Panthers also knocked off three top ten teams in their stunning run through the District II Playoffs as a four seed. Junior utilityman Kyle Criner will look to set the tone for the Panthers lineup after leading the team in runs scored and stolen bases during their Playoff run.
